Gaming and hospitality is a $31 billion industry that is the primary source of jobs and economic success in Indian Country. As competition in the gaming space grows, government and private interests may seek to undermine tribal gaming opportunities and promote adverse changes to the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. Our role is to assist you in protecting the Indian gaming investment, and ensure that federal officials respect tribal sovereignty in their role as regulators and government partners.
Our Indian Gaming team is led by Robert Odawi Porter, a former President of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and an experienced advocate for his own nation and his tribal government clients for over 25 years. Rob’s work reflects his years of experience assisting in the development of the Seneca Nation’s six Class II and Class III gaming facilities, including two facilities on newly-acquired sovereign lands in the cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
